Greetings Bob Mathis Family:  

It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to Bob Mathis Elementary School!  Our theme for the 2023-2024 school year is “Learning is an Adventure: A Safari to Success.”  We chose this theme because we want to remind our students that learning is exciting, and we are committed to their success. We believe that through hard work and collaboration among all stakeholders, our students will journey through the process of learning by setting goals, moving toward the goals, self-evaluating progress toward the goals, and celebrating their accomplishments after achieving their goals.  

As we look forward to the success of this school year, our goals are as follows:  to increase academic achievement in all content areas, to increase Lexile scores, to increase our attendance rate, and to maintain a safe and orderly school culture.  It is our goal to partner with our families and expose our students to as much as we possibly can this school year. It is our expectation that you will join forces with us to attain these goals. The students at Bob Mathis Elementary are hardworking, kind, compassionate, and loved young geniuses. They are the reason we are so committed. Our students deserve the best! And we intend to work with you to give it to them.
